Add to that radio broadcasting as Suzanne Carroll! Suzanne for many years hosted The Jazz Brunch®, a Sunday morning music specialty show which is currently broadcast on 101.5 The River WRVF, Toledo on Sunday Mornings from 9am till Noon. Suzanne loves broadcasting, and very much enjoys working within the advertising community. Her voice may be familiar as she has written and voiced hundreds of TV and radio commercials as well. Her career has certainly taken Suzanne on an interesting path through radio and TV!
Broadcasting has lead her to volunteer her time and on-air talent in Toledo for a radio reading service called The Sight Center Audio Network, or SCAN. This 14 hour per day broadcasting service operated by The Toledo Society for the Blind is for persons who are print handicapped. It airs on the second program audio channel on public television stations WGTE TV30, and WGBU TV27. Volunteers read everything from The Toledo Blade, to the Wall St. Journal to local papers such as the Rossford, Perrysburg, and more as well as novels and magazines such as People, and Newsweek. Suzanne broadcasts a two hour live reading of many articles from all sections of the Toledo Blade every Thursday morning from 9-11am, with a rebroadcast at 7pm and 1 am.
Suzanne is also currently on the board of The Toledo Jazz Society, and a member of the Government Relations Committee as well as the Public Relations Committee For The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Northwest Ohio Chapter.
